Full house it has a special place in the hearts of many kids who grew up in the 90s, for that retro TV theme song and its good family deeds. Netflix streaming Fuller House it even spawned a new generation in the Tanner family. As popular as the shows are, there are many inconsistencies that continue to surprise fans, and Andrea Barber – who played Kimmy Gibbler in both series – recently revealed that she is pushing back with one unique aspect of his character’s lore. Fuller House because he knew the fans would have a problem with it. It turns out he was right, because he “keeps hearing about it.”
Andrea Barber knew fans would be rooting for Kimmy’s New Brother
Kimmy Gibbler’s family is one of the biggest problems Full house universe, made even more confusing by the fact that we I never met Kimmy Gibbler’s parents or other family members – at least until Fuller House. One of Kimmy’s siblings who was even given a name in the first series was her sister Garth, which is why Andrea Barber knew that introducing a different sibling in the spinoff was it will be a headache for him. He explained about himself What a blessing, Tanneritos! podcast:
Jimmy, played by Adam Hagenbuch, ended up being a very important character Fuller House after his introduction in the Season 2 premiere.
Adam Hagenbuch appears in 36 episodes, and Jimmy eventually marries and has a daughter with Jodie Sweetin’s Stephanie Tanner. As for Andrea Barber’s prediction, was she right about the questions, DMs and emails? He confirmed:
Until people stop streaming Full house and Fuller HouseI believe! Unfortunately for Andrea Barber, she knew that the team behind Jimmy Gibbler wouldn’t be the ones who would have to answer to fans wondering why he wasn’t mentioned in the series. . So how complicated is the Gibbler family tree?
Full House’s Gibbler family is still confusing, even for the actors
To Full house the first beginning, way back in 1987, it was established that DJ Tanner’s BFF, Boring TV charactershad three older sisters, although they were never mentioned again. Later in the series Kimmy talks about her older brother Garth. In the Season 3 episode “Divorce Court,” Kimmy also said that she was glad her mother stopped having children after her, so it can be assumed that the ever-present neighbor was and the youngest of five Gibbler siblings.
When Jimmy appeared Fuller Househowever, he is introduced as Kimmy’s younger brother whom Stephanie has not seen since she was a “sloppy little girl.” It sounds like Gibbler’s parents weren’t made up!
However, surprisingly, Jodie Sweetin revealed on the podcast that Garth or any of their potential siblings didn’t show up at the big triple wedding. (Which I guess isn’t surprising considering the Olsen twins never came back!)
If you want to try to recap everything Gibbler – or uncover some of the inconsistencies that have been going on over the course of the series – Full house available to stream on a Subscription sizeand Fuller House can be found on Netflix, one of the the best streaming services.
